The Democratic nominee will be selected at a convention May 5, attended by delegates selected in caucuses in each locality. As of April 20, Mrs Cockburn has a total of 112 delegates, Mr Sneathern 43, and Mr Huffstetler 34. Since only 60 delegates remain to be awarded, in caucuses on April 21, Cockburn will apparently have more than 50% and will be the winner of the nomination.
